1948 Lancia Pininfarina

We visit Colton Amster, owner of Redline Restorations in Black Rock, Connecticut. Colton shares with us one of their latest restorations, a 1948 Lancia Pininfarina. This automobile has tremendous history: In 1948 it was a personal gift from Battista Pininfarina to Olympic Bicyclist Gino Bartali. Bartali was a hero during WWII, helping to save the lives of many Jews by traveling across several countries delivering newly forged identity documents in his bicycle frame and handlebars. In 2013 the car was bought as a barn find by a collector and restoration of the Lancia soon began. It is now completed and is headed to the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in August.

Palmer Motorsports Park

If your idea of a great track driving experience involves elevation changes and wonderful cambers on corners that are meant to dive into deep, then our visit to Palmer Motorsports Park in Palmer Massachusetts, will definately pique your interest.
